Report analyses innovation and entrepreneurship in family business
The crucial role that family business will play in rebuilding the UK economy through innovation and entrepreneurship is debated today in a special report that appears in The Times newspaper.
The 16-page report includes an article by CampdenFB.com editor Marc Smith on passing on the entrepreneurial gene. Further contributions come from family enterprise professor John Ward, Grant Gordon of the Institute of Family Business and family business advisor Peter Leach.
Family business members interviewed in the report include former deputy prime minister Michael Hestletine and his son Rupert, second-generation managing director of Specsavers John Perkins (pictured) and seventh-generation descendant of Clarks shoe dynasty Galahad Clark.
